Cette garantie couvre les risques financiers li\u00e9s \u00e0 la location. Elle est mentionn\u00e9e dans la loi sur les baux d&rsquo;habitation mais elle n\u2019est pas obligatoire. Cependant la caution locative est impos\u00e9e dans la plupart des baux d\u2019habitation. Pour savoir si votre contrat de bail est soumis \u00e0 une garantie locative il vous suffit de le lire et de d\u00e9couvrir comment sont garantis les engagements du locataire.<\/p><p>La loi pr\u00e9voit que la garantie locative puisse \u00eatre fournie en bloquant la somme d\u2019argent sur un compte en banque individualis\u00e9. La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kbcbrussels.be\/particuliers\/fr.html\">banque KBC<\/a> propose en Belgique ce service d\u2019ouverture de compte en banque d\u00e9di\u00e9 pour la garantie locative. Le compte individualis\u00e9 ouvert aupr\u00e8s de la banque KBC pour y loger le montant de la garantie est au nom du locataire.
