How do I open a rental guarantee with ING?In-branch only

Since 2023, the ING Livret Vert has been reserved exclusively for rental guarantees. Accounts can only be opened in person at a branch, by appointment. According to customer feedback, processing times and the time it takes to release funds at the end of the rental lease can sometimes be lengthy.

Visit an ING branch with your ID card. The security deposit amount is deposited into a blocked account in the tenant’s name.

Obtaining the Certificate for the Landlord

ING Belgium issues a certificate confirming that the guarantee has been properly established. This document must be provided to your landlord before signing the lease. Please allow 3 to 7 days to receive it.
